The Alyssa Niemiec Tennis Academy runs in co-operation with the Fairhaven Recreation Center. We also work closely with the Fairhaven Tennis Association. Our goal is to provide a quality learning experience for all of our tennis players while keeping the cost affordable. Our small teacher-to-student ratios allow for maximum quality instruction. Whether you've never picked up a racket or you are competitive tournament player, we have a spot for you! Our drills and games are age/skill specific and all players will leave the Academy feeling more confident about their game!
ABOUT ALYSSA
Spring/Summer 2011 will be Alyssa's 4th year heading her programs in Fairhaven, MA. Alyssa was born and raised in BC, Canada and she is currently a USPTA Pro 2 certified teaching professional. She is also a Tennis Canada certified instructor. As a player, Alyssa played college tennis in Florida while on a full tennis scholarship. She then went on to finish her schooling at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. She spent 4 years teaching tennis year round at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, RI. She has also spent time teaching in Washington, Florida, Tennessee and throughout Canada. She spends her winters in Washington but she'll be back in the Spring for another great season in Fairhaven!
